1 person dead, 3 others also shot in Pleasant Grove, Dallas police say

One person is dead after a shooting that wounded at least three others in Pleasant Grove on Saturday, Dallas police said.

Officers responded just after 4 p.m. to the 2100 block of North Masters Drive, near Bruton Road, and found four people who had been shot, police said.

Police identified Ana Moreno, 39, as the person who died. Three male victims remained in critical condition at the hospital as of Sunday afternoon.

Investigators determined people in two vehicles were shooting at each other while driving east on Bruton Road, according to police.

Police said Moreno was a bystander sitting in her vehicle when she was struck by a bullet. It wasn’t immediately clear if the three others injured in the shooting were also bystanders or involved in the exchange of gunfire.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday afternoon; the investigation is ongoing.
