Man killed last week in ‘road rage’ shooting, Fort Worth police say

A man was killed last week in a road-rage shooting, Fort Worth police say.

Officers responded Dec. 27 to a shooting call in the 12400 block of the South Freeway southbound service road near Rendon Crowley Road, and found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body, police said. They also found the person that shot him in the area.

The victim was sent to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified him as 51-year-old Jason Conley and ruled his death as a homicide.

The shooter is cooperating with the investigation, and police said Tuesday he was interviewed by homicide detectives. The department added that no arrests have been made at this time.

No additional information was immediately available.
