Convenience store clerk arrested after secretly recording women in store bathroom, officials say

Pierre Holt, aged 32, a downtown convenience store clerk located near the 900 block of Prairie Street in Houston, has been apprehended for allegedly secretly recording women in the store bathroom without their consent. This information comes from court documents and the Precinct 4 Constables Office.

Situated amidst bars and restaurants, prosecutors suspect that Holt took advantage of the location to surreptitiously capture video footage of women.

As per court records, constables launched an investigation into Holt after a woman stumbled upon a camera in the restroom.

Allegedly, upon discovering the camera, the woman seized it and fled the store, prompting Holt to react with hostility upon learning about the discovery.

Subsequently, she handed the camera over to the constable’s office, which collaborated with their High Tech Crimes Unit to examine its contents.

Investigators uncovered 126 video files featuring unsuspecting individuals using the restroom at the store.

Following the investigation, Holt was arrested and is currently detained on a combined bond of $87,500 for charges related to invasive recording and being a felon in possession of firearms.

Additionally, Holt was found in possession of two firearms.

During legal proceedings, Holt’s defense attorney, appointed by the court, stated that Holt claims ownership of a convenience store.
