Dallas Police investigating after body found in lake near Bachman Recreation Center

The Dallas Police Department is conducting a death investigation following the discovery of a body pulled from Bachman Lake early Sunday morning.

Around 9 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Bachman Drive in response to a call for service.

Upon arrival, authorities found a body floating in the lake near the Bachman Recreation Center.

Dallas Fire-Rescue first responders arrived shortly thereafter and retrieved the body from the water. Subsequently, they confirmed that the individual was deceased.

As of now, the identity of the victim has not been disclosed, and the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office has yet to determine the cause of death.
