Woman in critical condition after head-on collision into tree in NW Harris County, HCSO says

A woman is in critical condition after colliding head-on with a tree in northwest Harris County on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred in the 20800 block of FM 2920 when the driver veered off the road and struck the tree.

Emergency responders transported the woman via Life Flight helicopter.

As the investigation proceeds, lanes of the roadway have been shut down.
