Episcopal associate rector in Fort Worth accused of soliciting a minor online

Following his arrest for soliciting a minor online, Jason Myers, an associate rector at Trinity Episcopal Church of Fort Worth, has been suspended from his ministry, as confirmed in a statement from the church.

On Thursday, April 11, Myers, 43, was arrested by deputies from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.

Reverend Dr. Robert F. Pace of Trinity Episcopal Church of Fort Worth stated in the release that he was informed by an investigator from the sheriff’s office about Rev. Myers’ charges.

Additionally, Rev. Pace mentioned in the statement that while the church believes no one in the congregation or school has been harmed, they are fully cooperating with law enforcement to comprehend the situation entirely.

He encouraged anyone with information to report it either to their local law enforcement agency or to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services through their website or hotline at 1-800-252-5400.
