Woman accused of driving drunk, hitting 3 people with her car after they confronted her during crash

In Houston, Texas, a 23-year-old woman has been arrested and charged after allegedly driving under the influence and assaulting three individuals with her car in downtown Houston.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning when Daniela Posadas reportedly crashed her car into a group of friends’ parked vehicle in a downtown garage. As they attempted to exchange insurance information, Posadas allegedly assaulted one woman, punching her multiple times, before getting back into her car and striking all three individuals.

After the altercation, Posadas fled the scene but was later apprehended by police following a brief chase. Law enforcement officers used a stun gun to subdue her and take her into custody when she refused to exit her vehicle.

Posadas has been charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and three counts of aggravated assault, as per official records. During her court appearance, the judge set a bond of $20,000 for each charge.

According to records, this is Posadas’ first arrest. Fortunately, none of the three friends involved in the incident sustained serious injuries.
