2 wounded in drive-by shooting in southeast Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

Two people were wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in southeast Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.

Dallas officers were called about 10 p.m. to the 3500 block of Simpson Stuart Road, near Bonnie View Road, where callers had reported a drive-by shooting.

Officers found a 32-year-old woman who had been shot in the lower back and a 61-year-old man who was shot in the arm. Both of the victims, whose names were not released, were taken to a hospital.

A 9-year-old girl and a 50-year-old woman who were in a nearby vehicle were not injured, police said.

Police did not provide details on the victims’ conditions or about any potential suspects.
