A teenager drowned Friday evening at Joe Pool Lake, Grand Prairie authorities said. The Grand Prairie Fire Department was called around 6:10 p.m. about the possible drowning of a 17-year-old boy who had gone underwater while swimming near the beach and had not resurfaced.
